The Sacred Waters
On our daily Temazcal Journey over the course of the seven days, we will enter the sacred lodge every single evening, experiencing a total of 7 ceremonies, aligned with the sacred altars, principles, and lineages of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan (FSI).
The Temazcal: Reentering the Sacred Womb of the Earth
Derived from the ancient Nahuatl word Temazcalli—meaning "House of Heat"—the Temazcal is far more than a physical sweat lodge; it is an ancestral portal of rebirth, healing, and deep cosmic realignment. Built in a dome shape to represent the dark, loving womb of Mother Earth (Tonantzin), the lodge invites us to step away from the noise of the external world, crawl back into the center of creation, and remember who we truly are.
Inside the quiet warmth of the lodge, the fundamental elements of existence converge:
🔥 Fire & Stone (Abuelitas): Outside, the sacred fire awakens the volcanic stones—our ancient Grandmothers—who carry the oldest memory and wisdom of the Earth. Brought into the central pit (the altar), they hold the primordial heat of transformation.
💧 Water & Vapor (Breath of Life): Water infused with medicinal herbs and floral essences is poured over the glowing rocks. The moment water meets fire, the steam rises as the living breath of Mother Earth, surrounding us in a purifying embrace.
🌬️ Air & Sound: Guided by the steady, rhythmic heartbeat of the drum, the rattle, and sacred songs, our collective prayers rise with the vapor. In the darkness, sound becomes a vessel that calms the nervous system and reawakens cellular memory.
🌱 Earth & Body: Resting directly upon the Earth, the body sheds physical tension, toxins, and mental fatigue. Through four symbolic "doors" or rounds—each dedicated to a cardinal direction, element, and stage of life—we move through purification, emotional release, spiritual alignment, and physical renewal.
To enter the Temazcal is to make a conscious choice to slow down, surrender what no longer serves you, and let the waters wash away the layers of daily noise. You emerge from the lodge lightened, restored, and reborn—stepping back into the world with absolute clarity, grounded integrity, and a profound, living connection to all of creation.

Bia Fobia Laitti is a visionary catalyst, transformative guide, and creative force with over two decades of experience weaving art, philosophy, solarpunk ecology, and ancestral wisdom to restore our sacred connection to the Earth. As the founder of the Sublime methodology and the Starseeders community, and co-founder of the Casa de Cura institute, she pioneers new paradigms of conscious leadership and community restoration.
Bia’s walk is deeply rooted in ancestral reverence and sacred tradition. As a consecrated Temazcalera of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan—blessed directly by Chief of Chiefs Aurelio Diaz Tekpankalli—a dedicated Sun Dancer, and a Sacred Pipe carrier, she serves as a profound "rainbow bridge" between ancient lineages and contemporary life.

Forest Spa - Sibaúma
Spa da Floresta sits in Sibaúma, a quilombola village near Praia de Pipa (about 80 km from Natal-RN), right by an almost-deserted, paradise-like stretch of coast. It's a place of holistic retreat — detox diets built on natural, organic foods following Naturopathy and Ayurvedic principles, holistic therapies, and ancestral ceremonies designed to reconnect body, spirit, and nature.
